Frank Wright Spring/Summer 2014

Frank Wright continue to cause a stir in the men’s footwear market, and it’s easy to see why after seeing their latest lookbook. Frank Wright certainly likes to mix things up a little!

The collection for the spring/summer 2014 season is all about understated, casual styling – paired with contemporary touches.

Statement shades of caramel, rust, ocean and shark grey are nestled among a classic colour palette of navy, black and charcoal, all applied to leather and suede uppers.

Traditional design elements feature across new styles; leather rands and brogue detailing have been married with modern materials. While lightweight EVA soles, jute panelling and a bold colour spectrum stand out and add interest.

The new range features a mix of traditional and modern options such as brogues, dessert boots, boat shoes and loafers. Decorative detailing has been applied to a number of the new season styles including contrasting coloured laces and sole units, buckle detailing, woven side panels and punching.

A team favourite here at MWS is the FRY Sand Suede brogue at £90. They’re a perfect pair for the summer season’s smart casual event attire, with classic versus contemporary at its best.

This men’s derby style brogue is a great addition to any wardrobe. The intricate detail on this shoe makes this traditional/formal style slightly modernised and offers a different twist to the classic men’s brogue that we're all too familiar with.
