Introducing the Spiewak AW15 Collection

The mythic quest for the Golden Fleece began in Ancient Greece. Made from the hide of a flying ram, the protection it promised was more valuable than gold. The founding spirit of Spiewak celebrates this lasting symbol of endurance and safety and with winter truly here its time to get yourself the right coat for the season.

With this in mind the American outerwear specialists Spiewak have produced a series of looks inspired by the simplicity and functionality of brutalist architecture. Styled by David Hellqvist, this lookbook showcases the true luxury of their garments against a stark concrete backdrop.

The autumn/winter 2015 collection draws inspiration from Spiewak’s military history, featuring an updated style of the N3-B parka made in Tech-Aviation Cloth with a fully waterproof cotton/nylon shell, taped seems and stain resistant Teflon coating. Other highlights this season include the MA-1 Flight Jacket made of flight Satin that is water resistant thanks to an invisible inner coating, padded with Thermore® for extra warmth.

Performance fabrics and modern technologies are at the forefront of their design and this winter the brand have looked to conservation by introducing a range of 70/30 recycled goose down filled jackets.
