STYLISH PYJAMAS: UPPING YOUR NIGHTWEAR GAME

Stylish Pyjamas: Upping Your Nightwear Game

There I was with my friend Trevor, outside a pub on Marylebone sharing two halves Camden Pale Ale. We're both in our mid-forties and mid-fifties respectfully so we don't drink pints. Our bladders are no longer equipped to take on that kind of demand. Trevor points to a shop across the road called Derek Rose. 'Have you ever tried their pyjamas?' He asks. 'No,' I reply. I have invested in tailored evening wear from the markets of Cape Town, although admittedly, I swap those for those oversized pyjama trousers one gets gifted when you fly business class with BA when I climb into bed. 'They're the best,' Trevor says. 'They're about 300 sheets for a set and I've got a pair, although I bought them on eBay of course. They're down to their last thread so I will need to replenish them soon.' That was the inspiration for today's post. Yes, Derek Rose is numero uno for the most stylish men's pyjamas but who else out there is doing anything similar? I've found 4 other brands that you should check out if you're in dire need of promoting nightwear and sleepwear game.

Dagsmejan

Another brand I like the look of is Dagsmejan. From their website, Dagsmejan sleepwear for men is designed to meet your individual physiological sleep needs working on 4 levels to give the optimal sleep comfort; temperature regulation, moisture management, comfort design and a super soft touch. I think the idea of stylish men's pyjamas is wearing something that you wouldn't mind room service seeing you in. God I should write that down. And these certainly tick that box for me.

Sunspel

No one does louche-luxury better than Sunspel. They have a contemporary take on classic pyjama trousers, made from a soft brushed cotton flannel. The devil is in the details with features that include a hidden button fly, back patch pocket and side seam pockets on each leg. The contemporary cut gives a regular straight leg fit, while the elasticated waistband adds essential comfort.

Desmond and Dempsey

With a studio based in Brixton, London, Desmond and Dempsey have created a brand where family is the through line. Although, that makes me sound like Vin Diesel when I type that. They have family members as models, they enlist friends as employees and the pyjamas range from floral prints to camp collar Cuban shirts. Keep it in the family and sign me up!

Well, we always need to throw in a haymaker don't we. If money is just fun tokens for you, then why not check out Johnstons of Elgin men's cashmere tailored pyjamas.
